Typical
had to lock the r/videos thread. Barely any mention of masking and it's all like 5-10 people. That site is such a pit.

My frustration is with this YouTuber's fans. She's quite popular. When some post about her gains traction, all the comments are either 1) "oh I'm praying for you baby", or 2) "have you considered this random unproven/unhelpful medical treatment". And the whole time I'm screaming "can you guys mask so me and my family don't have to go through what she's going through??"
Oh yeah! But it's up and down the line for me, I can't decide what bugs me worse. PG's husband and friends aren't advocating for prevention, her fans aren't advocating for prevention, and even the randos in reddit aren't advocating for prevention. Just absolute submission to the Capitalists treating them as expendable.
Meanwhile, Herd Immunity is being taking out back behind a shed for 2 to the head.
Her family is just doing the social media thing to pay the bills. Agreed though, I wish more stepped up.
Sure, but not even like a, "be careful out there, don't let this happen to you." Nothing.🤬
Not defending anybody, you're right they should advocate more. But coming from someone who does advocate all the time, it's fucking exhausted with all the shit one gets back from people. I'll often let obvious call outs at work since it's just gonna cause pointless drama.
