I keep telling myself that someday I'll be able to buy a computer that can actually handle any of these, and then I'll have a library of games ready to go.

A lot of the smaller ones will run on any old potato so it's worth trying them out if you're feeling lucky

Yeah, like train valley from a couple weeks ago was a cute and relaxing little experience for a couple of hours.

Anything without a 3D world will run fine on integrated graphics/potato level GPUs like you said.

My current potato is going on 8 years old and wasn't exactly top of the line when it was new. It works as a media server and not much else.

Have a look at GOG's free games, some are from the 90s so should run fine for you!
