Linux community for Lemmy.zip. ~~also this needs mods pretty bad~~ apparently not as bad as I thought (either that or this community isnt alive enough for troublemakers yet)

This is an amazing development and I completely stand by his words on Linux I was rather surprised because I never knew he was a Linux user.

Makes me curious what other YouTubers besides PewDiePie and SomeOrdinaryGamer are active Linux users ๐Ÿค”

Why's everyone here downvoting this? Because you don't like PewDiePie? A huge youtuber is promoting Linux. Even if you don't like the dude, it's not a bad thing that a gigantic audience who might not otherwise have have explored Linux might feel more inclined to do so.

I don't think people should downvote this Linux-related content that's in a Linux sub just because it's been posted on different servers in the Fediverse. People are too free with their downvotes.

I agree, Not everyone is in every community, I have not seen this anywhere else on lemmy yet, if we are going to cherry pick when or where to post something i think we would have alot of dead communities ๐Ÿ˜…

Like i understand the frustration of seeing something everywhere but thats how it goes when something goes viral.
