Nearly two years of semaglutide, and I've lost 50lbs, and am still gradually losing weight. My goal weight is about 15-20lbs away. I credit the majority of my weight loss to changing my diet, with help of the Rx. I do exercise more, but I think that diet has played a larger factor in my weight loss.

I'm at a point that certain clothes are too big for me now, and I donate and replace them. I have some old clothes that I fit in once again. But there are a lot of pieces that I still wear, just looser and more comfortably.

I'm currently taking Semaglutide from a compounding pharmacy, but was given a Rx for Zepbound by my doctor, that I have not yet started taking.

I do have concerns if I ever stopped taking a GPL agonist medication, that I may gain weight back, and struggle to keep my weight down long term. But I am enjoying the results, and have developed a lot more healthier habits.

Way to go! I think the idea, from what I've learnedf on my journey, is that you should plan to use these meds for the rest of your life. Otherwise the food noise and the weight will just come back. As you approach goal weight, you switch to lower doses until you find the right maintenance dose.

My only concern is that my insurance stops covering it one day. So far, they only approved 6 months of coverage.

I hear you. It’s a huge concern unfortunately. and one I might be facing in a few months. Take a look at what I posted yesterday about CVS Caremark :/ My husband opted for bariatric surgery because of this risk.
