It's somewhat interesting that as Texas has been said to be lurching to the left for over a decade, the GOP has finally pushed too far and lost the plot. Now, the shitheads at the north end of South Congress are another beast, but this is generally heartening news.
With Paxton thinking he's heading to Congress after being impeached, things could get interesting. I've just been here too long to have any remaining hope. We nominally hold elections, but we really don't.
Any sign that the tide is turning is a plus. As always, I'll believe it when it actually happens.
Also, f Paxton, Abbott, Cruz, Roy, and whichever other cretin I didn't call out that deserves it.
