I really don't understand people's obsession with using Teams / Zoom / whatever for one-on-one short meetings that are perfectly suitable for a phone call. I get it if there's more than one person involved in the meeting, or it's going to be a detailed meeting. Then I feel awkward if I leave my camera off when the other person joins with it on (and 95% of the time, it's on).

Because it's easier?

I use teams all day and everyone is on it. So why not use it to make a voice call?

It wasn't a voice call through Teams. When clients ask to use it, it's because they want to see you on video. And that's exactly what happened.

Ahhh my apologies. That is super fucking annoying.
