I can't help but feel like a prick ugh my aunt has moved to Maffra and is hosting family tomorrow night/overnight to celebrate housewarming/April&May birthdays.
I have not been able to organise for anyone to check on mickey while we're gone. It isn't feasible to bring him (dad driving us, aunt already has a cat, there will be a big dog). I know he'll be okay, we have done once before one Xmas where I left the aircon on for him and heaps of food around - so I'm confident he'll be okay and fine. But there's that niggling fear that I'm a bad fkn owner. Idk just a vent - I'm happy if people wish to pass judgement aita style.
I'm lucky he isn't super food motivated, I can leave food around and he won't scoff it then vomit. I'll put the reverse cycle on warm for him and make a couple of nests out of the oodies, hoodies, and couch-blankets. I'll leave dry food out and around and make sure his water is changed tomorrow morning before I go. He'll be fine! Fuck!
He'll be fine and content at home. I've had to relocate my 3 today while our house undergoes some treatments. We're all in a canin, but they have not emerged from under furniture yet. The trauma just isn't worth it sometimes!
Thank you for this! ๐ I figured he'd be more comfy at home, and it's only for one night.
And yeah moving cats around for treatments and inspections is just so stressful, for you and the bevy!
