Where are they getting the numbers from? I'm not doubting the article but protondb only reports that only 3225 games are rated verified and playable.
The numbers seem to come from SteamDB's instant search.
There's about a thousand more Verified and Playable games than two months ago.
That is insane. I mean, I know a lot of it is publishers pushing to get them verified, but still. 1000 games in 2 months. Wow.
