I can definitely bend that pin back without breaking anything... this time
The non sharpened edge of an exacto blade does wonders for this. I've fixed tons of bent pins this way, the only ones that I write off are ones that curl over on themselves
I used to use the very tip of a mechanical pencil with no lead in it. I've gotten away with it many times, back in the Socket 5 and Socket 7 era.
Yeah, this is the way. After somebody gave me this tip years ago, every other way felt so imprecise.
