Kein ahung. I'm English and I don't understand enough German to get this 😢

"Was ist rund," - What is round, "im Wald" - in the forest(?)

That's all I know right now, sadly.

I know "schreib" has something to do with writing?

Google translate translates the joke, but I'm assuming there's also wordplay involved because I still don't understand 😭

Still, I'm in Berlin in two weeks - I think I'll try my luck going to a comedy show anyway!

Schreiber and Schreibär are pronounced pretty much the same.

Kugel Schreiber = Ball pointer (literal translation: Sphere writer)
Kugel Schrei Bär = Screaming Bear on a sphere (literal translation: sphere scream bear)

Yeah, the ä threw me off! Didn't know Kugel meant sphere, but I knew Schreiber!

If I put pen and bear together I might have gotten it! Danke!
