Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

So as someone who thinks they're real funny, that's a tad bid misandrist innit? /s
Not sure if I do actually belong here or not but I hate how misogynistic some people are when they don't think about it. It makes me a bit uncomfortable to be around them.
I have however heard some things that I would consider a bit extreme like making femicide recieve worse punishments than regular homicide.
So, devils advocate here, obviously laws are bullshit and will never protect the weak from the strong, and punishment doesn't actually fix anything except inadequate sexual arousal.
But.
If my younger brother murders me during an inheritance dispute so he can inherit, thats homocide of someone who happens to be a woman
If my brother murders me because im a slut who sullied the family name by having sex with a consenting adult without a cosplayer's permission, or for being an uppity bitch, etc, that would be femicide
Now, at least hypothetically, the motivation of the person who did the crime is part of defining what crime it is. This principle shows up in a lot of legal s]stems, but in the anglosphere is the distinction between manslaughter murder and terrorism, which can all, hypothetically, be the same act but differ based on how white your skin is and how rich you are.
So punishing femicide worse would omly be a category of hate crime, a subcategory of what used to be called terrorism before the word contorted to its current 21st century definition.
On a related note: men arent people, have you ever talked to one? They're like terrible little goblin creatures. Heterosexuality is a kind of beastiality, and im not sure it's one of the excusable ones where it's weird and gross but the animal clearly has enough understanding of the circumstances to consent.
Well if you're correct (which English sources seem to back up) then both I and a female friend of mine misunderstood that intention. When looking it up the German Wikipedia (since the source we saw was German) says that all murders targeting women can be included in the term. I'm guessing that it was just badly translated from English to German and then I made the mistake translating it back the same way.
The ideal solution then would be to properly call out the problem (hate crimes not being recognized as such/being properly punished) rather than trying to target a specific kind (though it was in a feminist context so it is sort of fair).
Also as far as I know killing somebody would just be a life sentence as long as it was planned anyway so it probably wouldn't be relevant anyway.
I'm going to guess that your last paragraph was a joke because there are actually some nice men that I know but basic human decency does seem a lot more common among everybody else.
Nope. Either trans women/genderqueers who arent out yet, or driving under the speed limit 'cuz they got bodies in the trunk.
