Well that sounds freaking nice. Why wouldn't they both take actions that reduce tension, huh, that would be even freaking better. Why wouldn't everyone in the world do that, god, I'm so sick of hearing about war. Was there always so much war when I was growing up, and I was just shielded from hearing of it? This world freaking sucks. I want to transfer to a different timeline.

War has always been ongoing to be honest. I was born in the early 80s in a relatively politically litterate family and I don't remember ever a time when there wasn't a couple of major conflicts.

Yeah I think I have the same experience looking back. I remember my grandparents insisting on watching the news like three times a day, and when one broadcast ended they quickly switched over to the other channel to catch the end of that broadcast. And each and every weather forecast.

I remember my grandmother moaning about things going on, like so and so many people were killed today in an attack on igifrifivonpfkemmkgda

She'd go "oh no 😭 the children, oh no" and I'd just be there 5 years old like 🤷‍♂️ what's the big deal

Now I'm her.
