Comic panels taken out of comics so we can make fun of them!! We love the golden age stuff!

Rules:

  1. Comics must come from actual comic books. No AI or Photoshops.

  2. Single panels are preferred.

  3. Comics should be unintentionally funny. Spider-man cracking wise is not what this is about.

  4. Don't be a dick.

  5. I can't believe I've had to add this... NO RACISM.

This must be modified from the original... Mustn't it?

Without an article this seems to refer to Richard

Especially during this time period, it would likely mean multiple things before genitalia.

“Dick” was a pretty common word for a detective, as in “hiring a private dick.” These comics are probably chock full of humorous uses of “dick.”

For this one specifically, the first place tineye sees it on the internet is on a “forgotten cool” tumblr in 2015, which also doesn’t cite where it came from.

Wow you're such a Dick, that was a great research.

Great insight, thank you. Makes even more sense with detective dick.
