I've picked up kitty litter on my bike before - I strapped it down much the same as here but the weight distribution was hilariously off. So much weight over the back wheel I could've done a wheelie just thinking about it but the weight was so high I would've flipped faster than a thing that flips really well.
Wish I could do more grocery runs on my bike though.
I've got a rack and panniers, backpack and all that. This looks fun but unless I can put it together at Harbor Freight for six nickels and a peanut, I'll probably just stick with terrible geometry.
I got one that I paid £80 and it saves me £520 per annum as I don't have to pay for the taxi cab to and back from the nearest Lidl, I guess you could make it from spare parts for free, but it saves so many trips and money that I think you'd lose money trying to hack it from 2x4, sometimes you need to cough up the dough
