Sirens were creatures of Ancient Greek mythology whose song was so beautiful that it enticed passing sailors to jump overboard to get closer to hear it, drowning in the treacherous sea in the process.

Here a siren is attempting to communicate her charms with more modern technology

I know what they are and I still do not get it because that is not how they do it...? It should be more like scammers asking for crypto/money/..., they do not simply say "give me money?".

You've seen the memes of scammers straight up asking for credit care info? This is sort of a play on "dumb scammer barely qualified for the job" type of meme. A good siren would probably text some actually enticing stuff - like that the water is very pleasant and that she's skinny dipping. This one is probably frustrated that she can't allure anyone, so she's desperately trying anything and everything.
