StupIDPol: A based critique of essentialism

A federated homage to the subreddit of the same name. The original idea is a marxist take on identity politics and the stupidity inherent in it, but we're fresh out of marxists to run this joint.

Until any marxists step forward to take over, this is a place to post well-tempered stories and commentary about the bonkers world of identity politics.

Reem's did not immediately return Insider's request for comment on Sunday, but the bakery chain did post a statement to Instagram Friday that said that it strives to "foster an environment of safety for our staff and customers."

I think people should be happy about this. But nit for ACAB reasons or whatever, this is a private company and they have elected to not have any guns inside their store, cops included. Let cops eat somewhere else and let whoever wants to boycott do so.

But this freedom of speech”right to refuse service” goes for any other business. If a Nazi bar exists then they have the right to refuse service to non-Nazis.
