I can't see all the comments made by other instances - for example the arch linux community on lemmy.ml, I can view all the posts from here, but only a fraction of the comments and karma.

I had a quick look, most of the posts are 2+ years old, lemmy doesn't pull commemts from before the server/community was searched and federated. All new comments will be pushed through.
