My prediction is Apple will build an impressive local LLM for iOS 18, multimodal with lots of capabilities, but hardware lock it behind the iPhone 16 models for some dumbass reason like how it needs the Neurobionic Supermegathicc Engine that they built into the SOC instead of using the existing neural engine
No you see the new chip’s neural engine is the only one capable of running the complex logistics of tapping two fingers together.
