For me it’s the option to individually lock apps.

being able to answer a imessage by swiping down the notifications. then answering right there like bitesms used to let you do. you still have to go into the app to respond

Hold the notification and you can respond right there and then from the notification or the Lock Screen/notification centre. No need to open Messages
