Albon went half a second quicker right behind him. Sure Albon was on new tyres, but Perez is in a Redbull. I donโt buy that him being out front on cold tyres being enough. Heโs in a Redbull, the cost is a bit of their advantage, not a negative.
I think Perez looks a bit uncomfortable in the wet. Wasn't it Canada quali as well where he just couldn't find the grip and bailed on the dry tires to make his attempt on Inters when all the fast runners in Q2 were using softs?
Yeah well remembered about Canada in those wet conditions. Perez definitely seems to lack confidence in the wet, at least during qualifying. Not sure if he was the same prior to Red Bull or whether it's something about the car in such conditions that really doesn't suit him.
