I'll be honest, I still check reddit on my pc (much less than I used to), but mobile was dead to me. Having a decent app for the fediverse makes it much easier to navigate, especially when the app is familiar.

I don't know about activity and I notice lemmy.world is often down andnit wasn't due to the apps. But sync is definitely cleaner and easy to use.
I'll check Sync out if I ever start having issues with Thunder. Don't know why it isn't as popular as other apps.
I'd say so, I was using liftoff and it just didn't work as seamless as this beta does so it makes me want to use it more ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I just tried to use reddit via third party app, then got reminded that it's over. Decided to check out whatever still works and found Sync for Lemmy, wondering if it's similar. Turns out, it's even better lol
I just joined because of sync. Hope this place takes off
With a top tier app lemmy is definitely much more attractive to use
