Malicious compliance. If they kept the sub down to protest reddit, reddit was going to replace them with mods who won't protest them. So they opened the sub back up as directed, but are still protesting.

Just consider it as still being down, except funnier because thin-skinned people are getting super mad about the Florida posts.
