Pretty interesting, though I'm not sure how I feel about the word "smectite" or the fact that it existed in great quantities at the southern tip of Thacker Pass.
Would America strip mine a volcano?
The current state of American capitalism is $ > anything. So yeah, I suspect we would.
America would strip mine anything if there was enough money in it.
They already stripmine their citizens.
It's an extinct volcano, so yes.
Would 2 and 2 make 4?
the mountain west would make a new volcano to allow them to strip mine it if they could.
