For the past day or so every time I try to open Jerboa it just crashes immediately without an error message why. Is there any scheduled update/fix for Jerboa? I'd like to be able to browse on mobile again and really enjoyed the app while it was working.

-posted from my pc (only because I can't get the app to work)

I cleared the app data and that fixed it, but signed me out of beehaw and I can't get back into my normal account on my phone until it's updated.

I'm having more problems w jerboa than WefWef ATM.

Maybe not very helpful, but the Lemmy experience on Android browsers is pretty good. I'm using mobile Firefox and it's much fun, it's especially fascinating to see the pages auto-syncing without having to reload them. But I can see how you would prefer the app.

I used it, had problems, dropped it. Using Connect now. Wefwef is good if you like PWAs.

Works for me.

Install the latest version of jerboa.

I had that problem until I had the latest version.

I can only read and comment on the web right now, which is fine. I just assume the apps will clear up in a day or two.

Seeing the same here for my lemmy.world account. Strong recommend for Connect as an alternative.

Crashing for me. Switched to Connect. Works well... except you can't pinch zoom images, which is a huge problem...

Connect dev here. It's coming!

  1. Force stop the app
  2. Clear cache
  3. Clear local data
  4. Relaunch and log in
  5. ...
  6. Profit

This didn't work for me. I had to find a forked version that supported lemmy.world's "outdated server".
