Summit

This release is dedicated to all the admins and moderators who are keeping our instances and communities running.

This release adds additional moderation tools/features. In particular, it improves the mod logs screen and adds support for more mod things (private message reports, registration applications).

The release has been in the works for a while, so I've decided to make it live now although some additional features are planned and in the works. I'm still working on more changes and I will tack them on to this release as patch updates as they become ready.

I'm currently on a trip to visit family, so I will be slower to respond/work on the app in general.

• Add inbox section for new account applications (for admins).

• Improve "context" section of the inbox to do as many fetches as necessary to get the full context. Very helpful if the context tree is very deep.
• Fix a bug where the title does not update in the post screen when the comment sort order is changed.
• Fixed a bug where instances are not displayed for users when they should be.
• Fix a bug where images do not load if on a private instance.
• Fix a bug where back ticks can break text formatting.
• Fix a bug where the navigation rail does not hide when the side panel is shown.
• Fix a bug where double tapping send can cause an action to be performed twice.

Update

There was a bug I knew about that I forgot to fix before I released the app (this is what I get for rushing a release). I will fix it in a dot update:

• Fix a bug where the unread screen of the inbox will not load unless you are an admin.

Update 2

Fixed the inbox for regular users but it was still broken for mods. Fixed in v1.64.2.

Update 3

Bump the version to v1.64.3. This release is identical to v1.64.2 but I forgot to do a version bump for v1.64.2.

Update 4

Fix some bugs with the release. Released as v1.64.4.

• Add cake day.
• Fix a bug where the app would crash randomly.
• Fix a bug where sometimes downloading an image would fail without an apparent cause.
• Make the post predictive back animation more apparent.

Update 5

Working on more things:

• Fix a bug where selecting one of the inbox screen categories fast will cause items from two categories to appear at the same time.
• Add a shortcut to go back to the "Unread" category in the inbox by tapping the inbox button when it's already selected.
• Improve "context" section of the inbox to do as many fetches as necessary to get the full context. Very helpful if the context tree is very deep.
• Change "View user's moderation history" to actually view the user's "mod history". That is, instead of showing the user's actual moderation actions, show if the user was the subject of moderation.

I'm releasing all changes under Update 5 as v1.64.5. This will be the last patch of this release unless more bugs are found.
