yep and apparently they are so popular here in Australia the dealer evdirect couldn’t keep up so BYD is taking over it all

Do you mean the Seagull ? We don't even have that model in Australia or do you mean BYD?
EV direct seemed to be doing a shit job and were caught falt footed with BYDs popularity. Particularly the Shark 6 in Aus. I remember an interview with the EV Direct guy and he said 25 years in the car industry, he'd never seen anything like the popularity of the Shark 6.
From experience (Dolphin owner) I think BYD taking over is because EVDirect has been a bit shit at what they're doing. I'm hopeful stuff like servicing and stuff improve with BYD taking the reigns.
