not really a comedy, wasn't quite as good as last season, and The Studio was fucking great.

Are there more seasons of this? I stopped watching at season three. Season three felt like a different show.
Season 3 was a step down but I really enjoyed season 4, and am looking forward to season 5.
Edit, also this award season was for Season 3, which is likely why it didn't win.
Season 4 came out a while back and there's going to be a 5th. I thought 4 felt more like the first two, but I also didn't go back and watch them so I could be wrong.
Note that this awards season is for season 3. For whatever reason, The Bear releases its seasons in June, right at the very beginning of eligibility window, so by the time the awards roll around in September the next year, the season being awarded is like 15 months old.

Bc everyone found out about the Kasama & hash brown hack and none others followed.. jk I thought it was trying to be artsy, they tried too hard.
Nothing stays on top forever? Was it an issue with The Bear or did a new “big shiney thing” come along?
This show, just by the ads and clips, and im not trying to start anything, just my opinion on the matter. Looked pretentious and kinda like the shows about “regular people” that rich people make, cause they have no idea how regular people actually live.
I disagree. I've worked in kitchens and it accurately captures many of the background stressors and the low level anxiety that is hard to turn off when off the clock (and I wasn't even management).
The storylines and plots aren't that interesting to me, but the emotional depth rings true to me.
Maybe it’s just the marketing of it that makes it look so pretentious. I worked in a kitchen also so maybe that’s why I don’t wanna watch a show about it lol
Is it based on a real kitchen and not some fancy ass restaurant? I rather watch a show about a diner cook than a fancy Michelin chef, I feel like I had enough of those
The whole first season is the Michelin chef coming home to deal with family and grief, and taking over his brother's Italian Beef joint after his brother's suicide. In the first season, the fine dining stuff is all flashbacks, while they deal with the aftermath of creditors and other unresolved issues in the type of restaurant that sells more than half of its food through a walk up window.
In the later seasons, he tries to execute on his vision of a fine dining restaurant he can call his own, but much of the fine dining content is still told in flashbacks.
It's a lot of things, but pretentious isn't a word I'd use to describe it.
I stooed wathing. At ep2 of Season 1. Show was annoying AF.
