I love it so much, not being held to one instance, or even technology.

What happened this time?
c/Risa@lemmy.dbzer0.com was created as an alternative to TenForward due to 10F being on Lemmy.world. 10F is still awesome and I want nothing but success for it. I, however, can't really in good conscience add to lemmy.world anymore. Why? This Post (and, importantly, the updates) explain.
tl;dr is that for months a mod of /c/world, /c/politics and /c/news has been abusing his position and violating the LW ToS left right and center. People have been posting about it but I missed it until recently and started to look into it. I made a post (the linked one above) questioning what was going on. In it, two LW admins responded saying that they didn't want JL to be the face of Lemmy.world/Piefed.world and that they've talked to him in the past about his behavior and how its unacceptable. Also said that they'd been talking about him for days before I made the post about what they should do.
In the time since, essentially nothing has happened. The issue was that his moderation style was abusive but he was removed from a team that didn't seem to be doing much. He's still the mod of those communities, including spreading active misinformation and suppressing anything proving him wrong. So I left Lemmy.world and set up on another instance (that's the first update in the above link). The admins made a public post to their announcement community (that's the second update) a little while later saying that they had removed him from the team and were looking into ways to remove him as moderator. By this point it had been 2 weeks since they had started talking about him and him being hyper problematic. They were still doing nothing. It's been 5 days since they made that post and nothing has happened.
I'm just disappointed to fuck that they keep dragging their feet on removing a moderator who abuses the shit out of everyone and bans people, even to the point where they openly say he's wrong. To the point where hours after they say he's wrong, the mod doubled down on the exact same issue publicly and refused to back down.
There's no justification for the complete inaction. My issue went primarily from Jordan to the admins for doing very little.
World announced that JL isn't a mod anymore a few days ago, has something else happened?
They removed him from some pointless mod discussion team or something but kept him on as a moderator for news and worldnews, the two communities where most of his shitty moderation happens. Their announcement was worded in a way that made it easy to think he was removed from moderation when skimmed though.

Thanks for the clarification
I double checked in case they did anything more, and no. The list of communities he is still moderating has been added to my prior comment.
I hate the .world janitors, they feel the closest to reddit mods.
But I still can't find a community that isn't equally as horrible in its own way.
