My new tuxedo computer is annoying meeeeee ๐Ÿ˜ญ everytime I start the pc or it comes back from sleep, it sends endless annyoing notifications. For three weeks I had to live with the sound without knowing where it came from - but I figured out that I can change the way of the notification. Now I know that there are at least two devices inside my computer that keep on getting connected, deconnected, reconnected and repeat.

I have absolutely no idea what I am supposed to do. I don't even know what these parts of my pc/devices are for!?

Is this something I can fix on my own, I have to live with or smt I should contact the Tuxedo support about?

Thanks in advance for being patient with me - this is my first ever linux experience ๐Ÿค–

He's KDED, Jim.

What distro is this and is it fully upt to date?

It could be an issue with a specific kernel driver or a hardware issue.

You could just deactivate that specific notification, but that won't fix the issue. See what you can find in KJournalD-Browser, it should come with the KDE environment.

It's the Tuxedo OS and as far as I'm concerned fully uptodate - at least I'm every day doing the daily updates. I'll check KJournalD-Browser, thanks!

It's just a first step. I bet you will get more than enough support from federated nerds here, but I suggest you go with the Tuxedo Support for now. If it's faulty hardware or an energy issue it just make sense not to go too deep into it by yourself, especially if you are new to linux.
