Mine are drifting but I haven't had the emotional capacities to figure out what to do now

Watched "September 5th" yesterday. Due to not being alive at that time I haven't heard about the details of that olympia histage situation and it was an okay movie for an okay evening

Watched "Elio" earlier this week and I was somewhat disappointed, but maybe I've been to tired to follow that story

My new tuxedo computer is annoying meeeeee 😭 everytime I start the pc or it comes back from sleep, it sends endless annyoing notifications. For three weeks I had to live with the sound without knowing where it came from - but I figured out that I can change the way of the notification. Now I know that there are at least two devices inside my computer that keep on getting connected, deconnected, reconnected and repeat.

I have absolutely no idea what I am supposed to do. I don't even know what these parts of my pc/devices are for!?

Is this something I can fix on my own, I have to live with or smt I should contact the Tuxedo support about?

Thanks in advance for being patient with me - this is my first ever linux experience 🤖

Noooooob here: As title said - I don't know what distro I should choose. My needs are student stuff like Libreoffice & Videoconferences but also creative things, photo-management and cutting videos. Does it matter at all? Do I have to check for every single program I use or is there a distro that is recommended?

I was planning on getting a Tuxedo with Tuxedo OS, but my neighbour recommended another "no os"-seller and now I'm not sure. I was opting for Tuxedo mainly because of the support since I'm leaving windows after many years^^

(Picture shows the lilac and blueish ports that we had for mouse and keyboard back "in my days" with the words "How old are you" - "Me:" on top - just because this community semmingly requires a picture added)

I need to get some sort of gift for a friends birthday (who lives nearby) and for a kid of my extended family (lives further away).

Do you have any recommendations for gifts that go along with sorta frugal lifestyle? I can't think of anything right now (pressure is on, birthday 1 is tomorrow)
