And it was deeply dark and sad. Not funny in any way, really. It’s almost like this was a non-serious post.
It has plenty of ironic thoughts thrown in there to break the darkness, if you want to read it that way. Or they can just make everything more desperate if that's what you want.
He apparently did think his own writing was very funny, and reported laughing as he wrote it.
And we were all forced to read it and analyze it as young freshman in high school. Why do schools fuck up our young minds like this?
