Why does every generation of M series chip have some slower feature than the previous one? This is so frustrating.

Honestly gang- how capable is the 15” Air? Because that’s what I’m considering now
Bit disappointed to see minimal gains over the M2 Pro, but I’m rocking an Intel 16”, so any M chip would be a massive upgrade, plus the space black looks sexy. Probably just gonna pick one up and try not to pay attention to the M4 next year.
Lol did they just do an Nvidia RTX 4060ti move? 🤣
Happier than ever that I scored an M1 mini for $300.
It seems like they're trying to rejigger the lineup to hit a price point. They want to hit the lower price to help with people buying the platform and corporations buying them for staff. They also don't want to lose sales to professionals who need power. The M3 Pro to M3 Pro is likely the same speed, but you can guy it at a lower price . That's a good solution for non-power users.
Is it the same story as with Nvidia 4000 series? Meaning they upped the frequency but reduced bus width.
Reading this makes me feel extra happy with my M1 Pro😁
