Is “optimized battery enthusiast” the synonym for I have crippling anxiety and concerns about useless things? 😭 just use your watch and enjoy it fully, slap that shit on its charger overnight and don’t even think about the battery
I have aod=on and wristRaise=on, it adds 0.6% batt drain per hour. I measured the impact to batt drain. This combo is necessary, else i wouldnt be able to see the Simple watchface outdoors.
How did you measure this and how did you control for other parasitic types of drain? I wouldn't have asked you but you were so suspiciously specific it was screaming for more info haha

You know what? I like that. I’ll give you that over “charge micromanager.”
From experience with past Watch models, turning off raise extended battery life noticeably although I’m not sure the exact percentage as I never formally measured it. If you have a newer watch, it’s possible you could still see somewhat longer battery life by disabling Raise to Wake while leaving Always On Display enabled
I don’t know but I have a short cut to turn it off while at work and turn it back on when I leave. I keep always on display on so that works for me.
I have it turned on and get almost 4 days on a full charge
