Honestly, I dislike Rodgers as a person, but I LOVE watching him play. With that said, I’d much prefer him to come back next season, fully healthy, rather than try and come back this season in a likely hopeless attempt to get a playoff spot.
This is without even mentioning that it’d be better for him to return next season as the current jets o line is awful, meaning Rodgers is just gonna come back and take a bunch of sacs. Hopefully next season jets use the draft/offseason to improve the o-line, while they are likely retaining most of their key players. Then hey, maybe they can even splash for a free agent top WR or trade for Adams. Next season just looks much brighter..
