Has anybody been successful in wiring the NIC lights from a Rosewill 4U case (RSV-R4100U) to their motherboard?

I imagine the odds are quite slim on a consumer board like I’m using (ASRock B550M PG RIPTIDE), but I’m still curious.

If your board (RTFM) has no pins/header for nic leds, you can't use it. But if you have other unused led headers, use them to wire this (SAS controller, iSCI idle led on iSCI controller for example). often dedicated nic's have this pins or real server boards with onboard nic. on consumer boards, i have seen this one time eons ago

It's rare to see a header for those on cosumer motherboard but most nics and hbas have a connector for a led that it can also be used for.

Yeah, you're probably SOL. I have a crosshair VIII dark hero in mine and even it doesn't have those pins.
