Denuvo has a history of bad performance. We can tell because performance increases when it is removed. This is just PR gas lighting.

That literally makes absolutely no sense... How can the service be independent if it's offered by the same entity that needs to prove that their stuff doesn't harm performance???

What are you gonna do? Disprove their claim by downloading a cracked copy of the benchmarked game and compare their performance? You can't because no one (that I'm aware of) crack denuvo games anymore, which is why denuvo can pull off stunts like this. They'll use new games with no crack available to "prove" their DRM has so performance penalty.

Actually, not true. Hogwarts Legacy was cracked within 13 days. Like Rentlar said, there's a lunatic called Empress that has made it her mission to crack all denuvo games.

Empress is, uhm, retired to say the least.

Next week the space lizards will tell her to get back at it.

You can never trust anything she says

I don't care about that. I don't purchase games with invasive DRM, period.

Dealing with computer breaking DRM, and drivers that fix one game and fuckup another is a big reason that I've been gaming on consoles more and more.
