Three things are true:
- it’s way too early to call him a bust
- Carolina is doing him NO favors
- he’s playing poorly
I think the whole team is a bust. That's the issue with the top QB's, they are usually with trainwreck teams so it's hard to get over the hump. I'd rather my son be the 21st pick than the 1st pick to be honest.

Way too early to call that. He's not on a good team. He has very few offensive weapons. His WR1 is 33 year old Thielen. They are a poor running team. West Coast offense is about getting playmakers the ball in space. They don't have great playmakers. Young is pretty accurate given the limitations they have, and doesn't throw a ton of picks. I would give it some time.
No one would look good with that WR room & offensive lime. Period.

unfortunately yes. #1 overall picks, especially at the QB position, elevate the guys around them. Bryce has not done that.
Incredibly limited but not a bust. He’s exactly what he was billed as. Small weak arm, limited mobility game manager. Not sure what anyone was expecting. Even Mayfield struggled on that Carolina team and he is much more talented

Compared to Stroud? Absolutely.
Is that enough of a sample set to know if he’ll be good or bad? Hell no.
I predicted he would be the biggest bust in a decade because of his size. So far, he is a bust but it is pretty early still.
I think Bryce can be very good. He’s a rookie who hasn’t even played double digit games yet. Also, put any QB in this Carolina system, with these receivers, run game, and o-line and they would struggle. He genuinely has one of the worst supporting casts in the entire NFL.

He literally looks like a middle school kid playing out there. He can not make nfl level throws because he has a noodle. Everyone posting other guys rookie stats as evidence he’ll be ok are just not watching him play, it’s so bad
All this bust talk wouldn’t exist if stroud wasn’t playing the way he is
It's silly to even be having this conversation this early in his career. He has decent stats for a rookie QB especially since he doesn't have much to work with and has Frank Reich as a HC. Cj being phenomenal is not anything Young can control

People will point to all the other rookie QB years like that poster in here already did but the difference is all those guys had sparks of brilliance.
Show me one play Bryce Young has had this year that made you say “damn, this kid has something special.” Just one will do.
