Nothing has felt huge anymore. iOS is so capable on all modern phone it makes them all feel the same unless you look at the small nuances.
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
This story seems sus. Why is the phone being sent back after delivery. The carrier should not of shipped the device if your installment plan wasn't created.
How did you not feel the huge difference? Like the framerate
12 pro max to 15 pro max and I felt a decent difference
I went from 12 normal to 15 pro max and i’ve found it to be great. no, it’s not life changing. everything is faster, face ID is much faster (huge for me lol) and I appreciate the extra screen real estate.
I was upgrading to a 13PM from an X, that was a difference...
I’ll tell you one thing that keyboard on the iPhone 15 pro max is super laggy. Especially the delete button! Apple won’t address it.
The 11 Normal to 12 Pro was a huge difference for me. I think you made a mistake.
I upgraded from 7 plus to a 14 plus last year, definitely a big improvement in every aspect. My 7 was a great phone, lasted me 7 years. Never cracked the screen though it was dropped many times. Wasn’t slow and the battery didn’t get bad until a few months before I traded it in. But my 14 plus is exactly what I wanted. Camera is way better, battery lasts forever and has all of the new features like Apple Pay.
I went from iPhone SE 2020 to iPhone 14 pro last year and could not feel the difference until I switched back to SE 2020 and was 'Damn, was it always that bad?'
Tbh the 15 pro looks inferior to the 14 pro. It looks thinner & cheaper. Hell I’ve seen posts of people CHIPPING the corners when dropped, due to the titanium. I was a bit disappointed tho when I first got the 14 pro because of how identical it looks to the 13 pro but I learned to like it for the battery
Phones just don’t have as many things to innovate on as they used to, nowadays it’s becoming more of a slow evolution than a different phone every year like it used to be
I went from the 7S to the 11 Pro to the 14 Pro Max. And honestly it’s the same exact phone just a little bigger. I don’t do anything differently now than when I had my 7s.
They are functionally the same.
I took the same photo on my 11 and 15th and unless you zoomed in, you couldn’t really see the difference.
This would be a benefit and I would be happy if I believed you. Unfortunately I don't. Ever since the 12 they've ABSURDLY ramped up the post-processing in the photos. There's no way the 11 looks like the 15 Pro.
Take a photo with the subject against a bright background. I bet the 15 Pro "smart HDR" makes the subject look like a sticker on top of the photo.
I upgraded from an XR to a 14 Pro and i felt the same. I was expecting a massive upgrade and i was disappointed. No new phone until 2030
Anything passed the X has been samey
I went from an 8 to a 12 mini, that was a decent leap for me, I will definitely give it another year
iPhone 12 mini to a 15 Pro. Huge difference for me. Video for me is a big factor, and being able to shoot Log at 4k PR LT is amazing.
I went from the second gen SE (basically a 5S) to a 12. That was worth double the price
I'm surprised you didn't notice the high refresh rate (ProMotion). That's probably the biggest thing my 14 Pro offered me over my XR
I went from 7 to 11 pro max, left that on the roof of my car and drove off. Replaced it with 12 pro max. Waited til usbc came to iPhone, and upgraded to 15 pro max. The upgrade between each is astonishing to me every time.
The smallest incremental difference being 11 pro to 12 pro. Just slightly larger cameras and square edges.
Apple is really not doing much for iphones lately
When i went from a 4S to a Xs Max i felt everything. But from Xs Max to 14 pro. Nothing but just a phone with a bit better camera and nothing else. Maybe the 120hz screen
i felt a difference from SE (1st gen) to 11 but when i played around with the 15 at the store, it was only a bit faster
Got a 14 pro from an 11 pro because it was glitching. I do not feel a difference. Also iOS 17 is kinda glitchy.
