I think there comes a time in every players' season where they start looking at their contract. Skill-position players often have incentive-laden contracts. As a receiver, you need your quarterback to not be total dogshit. Unfortunately, Diontae Johnson has a quarterback that is, in-fact, total dogshit, so he's going to miss some of those incentives.
Johnson’s play has hardly been flawless over the years. What if a Pittsburgh QB had thrown his hands up in disgust and talked shit on Twitter after one of the many instances a ball went through Johnson’s hands or he didn’t get his feet down trying to make a sideline catch?
Minkah should have beaten Johnson’s ass like he did to Claypool. In fact, the entire defense should relentlessly bully and humiliate our TikTok diva clown receivers until they shut the fuck up and run NFL routes.
