I know it is not news but the lack of trust they have in Fields is shocking. The two main red zone plays were basically sprint right with one man on a route and a swing pass to a runningback. That said, I still can’t figure out if it is an indictment on Fields or the coaching staff.

Very dumb football question - on that 3rd and 4, was that screen the intended option or did Fields just get cold feet? I thought I saw another guy running a route on the other side of the play but I wasn’t sure

My fave part about this game is that someone at Disney saw the Bears play last year and change almost nothing over the summer at still thought yes, America needs to see this team in prime time.
Screens would be more fun if teams use the backwards pass, as a former rugby league player i have always wondered why teams dont design more rugby plays. Screening and blocking is not allowed in rugby fyi cos it would be too advantageous
