My 1988 high school team was pure finesse. Got out-handled, gunned, hit, tackled, runned but not out-finessed.
98 Vikings.
99 Rams.
Manning Era Colts.
Fouts Era Chargers.
Marino’s Dolphins, for sure. Not to say that they didn’t field some tough teams, but they were running when other teams were crawling in the passing game.
Dude dropped 5k and 48 TDs in 1984 with the big boy rules. He had 100 fewer attempts than Peyton had in his record-setting season.

Kept scrolling and saw no mention of the Drew Brees era Saints. Always thought they were a finesse team that was always dropping bombs and had Bush catching passes.
