Seconding what @EGirlEnthusiast@lemmy.fmhy.ml mentioned -- Sonarr, Radarr, and Jackett are the way to go for this.
My current setup has Sonarr (tv) and Radarr (movies) automatically download releases when they're posted to the indexer. For that I use Prowlarr which serves the same purpose as Jackett; Prowlarr goes out and searches for releases either on specific torrent sites or on usenet on a regular schedule.
When it finds a release, it will send the file to be downloaded either by transmission or nzbget, they then move it onto a shared drive which Jellyfin watches for media. It takes a bit to setup but once you get it going, there is very little maintenance that you need to do with it.
