After a series of pandemics, the economy has collapsed in much of the world. The worst affected states were dismembered and bought by the strongest. Afterwards riots broke out all over the planet that led to a total war almost causing the extinction of the human race.

The survivors found themselves dealing with a devastated but still present world, and over the years nature has taken back the spaces that man had occupied.

The cities have been swallowed up by vegetation, the animals once confined to increasingly restricted areas now roam free.

SECOND DAWN is the starting point from where you can start living with respect towards the planet and its animal and plant inhabitants.

This illustration was created for a campaign against global environmental issues. This is the earth in the future due to global warming which is actually in the near future and is not the worst. If all the world's ice melts due to global warming then there will be no place for humans to stand.
