I’m sorry if this question has been asked before but I’m new to Apple Watch and was wondering if there was a Reddit community in which I could talk about exercise app badges? Specifically how to collect them?

If you get GPS + cellular do you have to connect to your carrier or will it essentially be only gps at that point? I found a series 7 cellular+GPS for less than gps.

I’m not getting texts with verification codes but only from certain apps. I just got one this morning from Twitter but have been having a problem with 2 other apps for a couple of weeks now. Had this problem before but don’t remember what I did to fix it. My phone is updated and iPhone 13

Is this just me being delusional, or did the iPhone 14 Pro’s bezels get significantly thicker on 17.1.2?

I know the physical bezel can’t be altered by software, but it seems the black edges of the phone are thicker than before.

We had to connect it to wifi, then I had to scan a QR code and create a play station account on my iPhone, I barely started but didn’t finish and left the window open where I left off. Plus doing a bunch of other things on the PlayStation to set it up while on internet. Also they contacted support I think and my mom was trying to enter her email into it after my dad put his in and it wasn’t working. Then a little later I went back to safari and clicked on the same window and there was a weird pop up saying our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network and I had to click a captcha box confirming I wasn’t a bot… under the explanation it said something about this traffic might be sent because of malware?? I panicked because of this pop up. I cleared web history and data and when I was opening new windows it still was giving me that message a few times, I cleared web history and data a second time and it went away.

Did this just happen because of setting up the play station? I have never gotten this message before.

Also I’m not using a vpn and on safari I was only using the private browser, which wasn’t logged into google.

So I’m of course jumping and dancing to the music so shout out to apples stability on their new camera but unfortunately my apple care just expired and I normally don’t need insurance because I’m very careful with my belongings however my camera is stuck like this. How much is this gonna cost me? Can I still get apple care? And is this an unfortunate mistake or is this known. I’ve been to a lot of concerts and clubs with of course other iPhones and this is a first for me.

Recently my friend changed the name of a group yet on other people’s screens it says I’ve changed it. No this is not contact information being changed as he showed proof I was the only one with my name in the group. I’m confused please help

My iPhone XR was snatched 15 days back, it has not been found ever since. I was concern should i login my old apple id in the new iphone. Will it raise privacy concern?

If I’m not mistaken Apple produces and manufactures Protection Cases for iPhones. Does it do the same for other devices? For example, do they sell Cases for Apple Watch or Airpods (I am asking regarding official Apple Products not Third Party Cases).

If yes, could you please let me know for which other devices does it produce official cases.

I have two pairs of gloves I’ve tried so far, I had these gloves before I owned a MacBook. One is fingerless but it collects a lot of dust and lint so lint gets into the keyboard spaces. The other has only two fingers that have conductivity.

The gloves I’m looking for would not collect lint and have multiple fingers with conductivity.

Please help my hands are so cold.

Will I lose photos/video on one if I trust another? I’ve only ever used my own personal iPhones with this MacBook, and now I want to connect my mom’s device to back up stuff.

What case is your go to case? I’m looking for something protective but not huge and bulky looking. I work in an office but after work I sometimes work on my truck and help my dad with wrenching on stuff so I need something to survive a drop onto concrete and that’s good with dirt. I currently have a Spigen Ultra Hybrid but I’m tired of cleaning dust out of it.

I feel like there’s not much changes. Is it worth it?

I’ve had an android phones ever since my first htc desire in 2010, mainly Samsungs since, ending with the 22 ultra before moving to 15 pro max a couple of weeks ago as I just wanted to try an iPhone.

On the whole it’s a great phone, no buyers remorse but there’s a couple of bits I struggle to understand.

1). Do Apple really not have any native apps with manual focus or other manual modes of controlling a camera? I don’t use it a lot but it’s handy to have. Do I really need to buy a paid for app for manual camera controls? The phone heavily promotes its cameras in marketing.

2). No separate controls for sound volume, for ring tones and messages etc?

3). The last one is that I can’t seem to individually clear notifications, it’s all or nothing?

None are deal breakers, I just can’t understand why apple wouldn’t include these in 2023.

Have I missed something with these or is that all correct?

Around midnight as I was about to sleep my phone suddenly played an Islamic song, This song is pretty new to my ears as ths is the first time I heard it, I mean I listen or heard some Islamic songs but this song is the first time I heard it, I'm worried that my phone is hacked by someone but remembering it, I don't seem to visualized on what particular situation did I get myself into it, I mean I sometimes visit illegal sites just to download or watch some video but that it, And why would it be Islamic song?

I bought my girlfriend a series 9 to go with her iphone 11 and tried setting it up for her today,had to update to the latest software but still cant pair it up,start scanning the watch and just says cant pair,try to do it manually and it asks me for a 6digit code that's on the watch but there isnt one. Xan anyone give me any advice as I'm starting to lose my shit

Can I use my 65w Mac charger to charger my 15 pro max to get the best charging speed or is it bad to do?

Just wondering if anyone risks it for short periods of time?

I love the iPhone 15 Pro Max, with all my heart. I took a year off from Apple and went Android (OnePlus), mostly due to convenience after I smashed my 13 PM one night accidentally, not aware that my insurance and applecare had both lapsed. I gave it a good ole fashioned shot fulfilling my smartphone needs, gallantly optimistic about the whole experience.

I will never, ever do that again.

When I doom scroll in the YouTube app I often encounter funny pictures not videos that I want to copy and paste to my buddies on slack or discord. How do I do this? Long pressing does not seam to do anything.

My dad’s birthday is on dec.22 and he’s been talking about getting an Apple Watch for a few yrs now so I want to get him one. He’s not big on technology so would sticking with the SE be fine? He literally has my old iphone 7 for reference. He wants one because he enjoys going on walks and exercising so he mainly just wants it for that since he doesn’t carry his phone on him all the time. Especially at work. Please let me know opinions!

edit: Okay so I am planning on getting him a new phone as well. Probably the 15. Is the se apple watch still fine?

I have critical levels of ADHD and pretty much accepted that my life will just constantly be in a state of chaos and disarray but then I impulsively decided to buy an Apple Watch and it’s has changed the game for me.

It has now been about a year and a half and-

1.) I improved my sleep exponentially by gamifying it with sleep circles.

2.) I wake up so much more refreshed with the smartalarm that gently vibrates over time to wake me up.

3.) I miss way less important dates since telling siri to add something to my calendar when i first think of it. i know the iphone does that too but not having to grab my phone is a very helpful step.

4.) my public screen time is down because i don’t have to pull out my phone to read a notification and get distracted by something on it.

5.) Also amazing at having siri spit out a random fact when you’re watching independence day with your partner and want to know how old will smith is without grabbing your phone.

6.) it motivated me to smart-homify my entire living space and although it made me more lazy it also made me easily control my level of stimulation without having to make as many executive decisions to get up and change something which makes my free time feel much more relaxing.

but it’s seriously worth the cost for the sleep tracking/smart alarm alone.

Someone please help me, I’m losing my mind! Before the update, I used to be able to drag the menu from the bottom and there would be gray ovals with various symbols, one of which pinged your iPhone to make it make a sound. As someone who often losses their phone, I used this button nearly every day. Now on the new update, I can not find this feature for the life of me. How do I access it or get it back to the home menu?

I have a series 6 running watchOS 10.1.1.
