My iPhone XR was snatched 15 days back, it has not been found ever since. I was concern should i login my old apple id in the new iphone. Will it raise privacy concern?

You should be able to lock it if they didn’t get the device password. it’s worth it to use a computer or other phone to log into FindMy in iCloud and lock or wipe the device

After doing that should i prefer a new icloud id in new device or should use the old again

If they dont have your icloud account info then it shouldn’t be an issue, you can change the password too just incase.

I personally wouldn’t wanna have to make a new icloud and have to lose my purchases too.
