Through the first half of the year, Audi sold 81,951 units in the US, on the other hand, BMW reported 178,499 units(excluding Mini)

Meaning that in the US, for about every 1 Audi sold, there are 2.2 BMW's sold.

Looks like the new M2 CS set a Nurburgring record for compacts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATd4mFgBkw0

This makes it faster than the previous holder (the RS3 8Y facelift) by 8 seconds. The tires used are Trofeo RS.

The Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 User's Guide from DK Engineering TV. They personally own the car. Bit suprised it's coming out at just over 1100 kg weight with under half a tank of fuel when it was first advertised at 986 kg show weight (car with everything but fuel) but it's still really light compared to other modern cars. Nothing else like it.

The other day I was thinking about different engine configurations and decided to do some research and find out what the fastest cars (or bikes) for every number of cylinders is, in terms of performance around a typical racetrack.

This is the list I came up with, does it seem accurate, or did I miss anything?

1 Cylinder: Ducati Hypermotard Mono Edit: it would be a 250cc national kart

2 Cylinders: Ducati Panigale R

3 Cylinders: Aprilia RScube Edit: it would be a modern Moto 2 or the Nissan ZEOD RC

4 Cylinders: Porsche 919 Evo

5 Cylinders: Honda RC211V

6 Cylinders: Mercedes W11

8 Cylinders: Red Bull RB6

10 Cylinders: Ferrari F2004

12 Cylinders: Peugeot 908 HDi Fap

16 Cylinders: Bugatti Bolide

Since some asked what it would be for production vehicles, I think it would be this?

1 : Ducati Hypermotard Mono still

2 : Ducati Panigale 1299 Superleggera

3 : MV Agusta F3 800

4 : Bone stock it would be the Panigale V4 Superleggera but the YZF R1 M and ZX10RR might be more capable platforms.

5 : Audi RS3

6 : AMG GT One

8: AMG GT Black Series unless the Zora dethrones it

10: Huracan STO

12: Aston Valkyrie

16: Bugatti Divo

Looks like there is resurgence on the minivan market as almost all the models from major manufacturers have seen their sales go up by significant margins in the first half of the year except for Chrysler Pacifica.

| Vehicle | % Change Q2 YoY | 2025 YTD Sales | |

|

|

| | Toyota Sienna | +74% | 52,762 | | Honda Odyssey | +28% | 50,033 | | Kia Carnival | +61% | 33,152 | | Chrysler Pacifica | -53% | 17,926 |

Along with a 473-hp twin-turbo flat-six, the 911 Carrera coupe and cabriolet, as well as the Targa, will offer all-wheel-drive traction.

Mine is when Nurburgring lap times are brought up. 99% of the time it's someone in a base model luxury car that saw some super heavily modified version of their car, conveniently forgets that this is no where close to a stock production car, and swears that this means that their car is God's gift to drivers cars. Nurburgring lap times are like the go to reference for people that have never actually tracked their cars. It's a very unrealistic track for 99% of cars. Most tracks are not nearly as long or as power dependant, imo it's actually a terrible metric for most enthusiast cars

It's a great track for evaluating super cars, where high speed handling and aero play a huge factor. But it's also a track where a gr86 and miata get demolished by a BMW X5 lol

While the type of cars dodgr/chrysler/Jeep etc produces might not be everyone's cup of tea, I am glad SRT is coming back. SRT's offerings are always entertaining, and having entertaining/fun options is always a good thing

I mean sure, the comfort and power are usually way better in high-end cars but what about other gadgets and options? Does a Rolls-Royce have a better A/C than a cheap Corolla? Does a Bentley have better dome lights than a Ford Focus?
