BMW calls them series, like 3 series or 4 series. Mercedes calls them class, like S class or G class. What does Audi call them? I see a 4 [blank] but not sure if it’s an A4 or S4. What do I call it?

Edit: Solved by u/Dazzling-Rooster2103 and with sources.

A sad day for the UK sports car industry. Not sure it will boost their sales. Then again the Z4 has been built in the US since the beginning.

Florida is looking to clamp down on speeding drivers, and as of July 1, some could be required to serve jail time. A new law signed by Governor Ron DeSantis aims to improve road safety, but has sparked controversy, with some suspecting the new law could further clog an already congested legal system. Some have claimed the law is also too broad.

The new legislation targets motorists who are nabbed exceeding the posted speed limit by 50 mph or more, or for driving at 100 mph or more in a manner that threatens the safety of people or property. First-time violators may face a fine of up to $500, imprisonment for up to 30 days, or both.

Anyone caught a subsequent time could be forced to pay a $1,000 fine, face 90 days in jail, or both. Additionally, repeat offenders may have their licenses revoked for up to one year. Motorists caught exceeding the speed limit by 50 mph or more must appear before a Judge, too, as the Florida legislation includes a mandatory court appearance provision.

State Republican Mike Gottlieb has expressed opposition to the legislation, claiming that it is not well thought out.

“It’s constitutionally overbroad,” he said, reports WFLA. “It is incredibly invasive. It’s going to clog our court systems in a way that none of us can imagine. The bill makes sense, speeding kills, we want to punish people more severely for speeding. It’s not well thought out and its enforcement and inaction, I would urge you, we need to reconsider this, tee it up next session. It’s not a good bill. It’s not in a great posture.”

The goose men review the expensive version of Ford's affordable ute. Lobo seems like it's going to be the ST-ish trim for Ford trucks.

Fun fact: In Mexico Ford has branded F-150s as the Lobo for a long time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ford_Lobo_Single_Cab.JPG

Right now with some expensive EVs and luxury cars, they are ditching the sunroof in exchange for an all glass roof that doesn't open and has adjustable shade. I was watching a video about the new Polestar 3, and with that car they just have a giant glass roof that doesn't open. I personally think a sunroof that opens is more premium and also it allows you to have more control over how much sunlight your car gets in. I also wonder if in a all glass roof, if it will heat the car up more when it's just parked. Why are luxury cars moving away from sunroof's that open?

The Alpine A110, for Americans who don't know, is a retro-future version of a French sports car by the same name from the early 1970's. It was known for being light and visceral, and the new version is no different. European journalists and enthusiasts have sang the A110's praises for all eight years it's been on the market, but Americans never got a taste on their home roads, until now!

Special shoutout to TST fan Ben C for sharing his car with us!

I’m discombobulated as to why they posted videos so often leading up to the unveil of this car, of the camoflauged production version of this car when they aren’t releasing the production version until next year. They even posted videos of the production version drifting and accelerating.

I don’t care much for the front end of the concept and don’t think it looks Mercedes enough. It seems like the current generation SL was a big inspiration for rhe porportions and hesldights of the SL (if you rotate the headlights their basically SL headlights) but besides that it doesn’t really have a Mercedes look to it.

The interior is pretty nice looking to me and I like how much creativity looks like went into it but the screen is absolutely too massive, they went from tablets to tv screens.
