Original Title: Planetiles - MythicOwl - A serene tile-based city builder with roguelike elements based around creating natural settlements and preserving nature on remote planets, inspired by Dorfromantik - new updated demo
Hi everyone!
Last month we announced our upcoming cozy space city-builder strategy called Planetiles. We're greatly inspired by relaxing and wholesome indie games and one of our go-to is always city building. Our devs are avid, long-time Civilization fans now enjoying the likes of Dorfromantik or Islanders - so.. here is us making one!

Gameplay Features
Build: Craft habitats with strategic tile placement, earn bonuses and unlockables. Shaping a forest consisting of a specified number of fields or constructing a distinct feature like an oasis will give you different benefits depending on your quests and game progression.
Grow: As the biomes you cultivate grow, so do your resources to build! Increase your reserve of tiles by completing missions that replenish your supplies and expand across the worlds you shape through your choices.
Manipulate: The landscape reacts to your choices. Turn a few scraggly trees into a lush forest and create distinct biomes by placing tiles to satisfy quests and activate power ups.
Discover: Uncover special structures through your tile placement choices alongside unique features such as shuffling the next shapes or placing a unique object on the planet.
What's Next? Steam Next Fest!
We're preparing for October's Steam Next Fest developing a much more updated demo with new content, UI and improvements all around the place - make sure to add Planetiles to your wishlists and stay tuned with all the updates:
We'd love to see your feedback about Planetiles so feel free to share it on our Discord channel (link above) or directly in the game's discussions on Steam. Thank you for the support and see you somewhere on the milky way!
