Hi everyone,

I'm excited to share my project, VE Enhanced, which adds powerful notification forwarding capabilities to the original Ve notification logger. If you've been searching for a Cantonese-friendly tool to forward iOS notifications (like I have), you probably noticed there aren't any options available — that's why I forked Ve and built this version myself.

Key Features:

  • Bark Integration: Forward notifications directly to your Bark server, including full support for end-to-end encryption

  • Enhanced Security: Optionally enable encrypted message forwarding using custom encryption keys so your notifications stay private

  • Automatic App Icon Fetching: VE Enhanced uses the iTunes API to fetch the app icons for your forwarded notifications, making your Bark feed look clean and informative

  • Smart Filtering: Advanced filters let you customize which notifications are forwarded (Active/Passive mapping)

Background:

I originally couldn't find any software in Cantonese — or any language! — that was able to handle notification forwarding for iOS, especially with features like encryption. So I decided to fork Ve, a natively integrated notification logger for rootless jailbroken iOS/iPadOS 14+ devices, and implement the features I needed myself.

Compatibility:

  • iPhone, iPad, iPod touch running iOS/iPadOS 14 or later

  • Requires rootless jailbreak

Check out the GitHub repo for more details and installation instructions: https://github.com/WingCH/Ve

Would love feedback from the community and to see if this helps anyone else!

If you have a jailbroken device, or have just jailbroken one, congratulations.

But the first thing right after is to PERMANENTLY BLOCK any updates from Apple.

Use this link to see how to block updates on your device.

This is not any new information, it’s just an important reminder, because I lost my jailbreak.

I had an iPad mini 6 with 16.6.1 and accidentally upgraded to 18.0.1

Updates are irreversible and only very old devices (like before 2011) can really be downgraded.

Don’t make the same mistake I did😢

Stay safe and enjoy your jailbreak!

I made this list of the most popular ones I could find on scammy YouTube tutorials and made a small list:

https://en.sileem.com/

https://palera1n.com/

https://github.com/FuguJailbreak/Fugu-Jailbreak-iOS-18

https://iosunc0ver.com/

https://zeejb.com/

https://jailbreaktoday.com/

https://iosjailbreak.pro/

https://jbelectra.com/

This shit 100% violates YouTube's rules and should be flagged as harmful by Google. If we can all just take 30 seconds to report them when we see them, we can get this trash taken down.

Who's in? If you know how to report them properly, let me know the best way.

This report documents undocumented system behavior observed in iOS 18.6, where trusted Apple daemons:

  • Bypass TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) to access protected data (e.g. Reminders)
  • Write to sensitive preference domains related to photo/comms safety without user interaction
  • Transmit network data (~5MB) silently via system daemons
  • Do so with no app contextno user prompt, and no visibility in UI or privacy settings

Key Findings

  • tccd silently accessed kTCCServiceReminders (Reminders) with preflight=yes and no client app
  • abm-helperCommCenterRootHelpercfprefsd, and others activated Mach/XPC communication
  • sosd attempted writes to com.apple.messages.commsafety.plist
  • nsurlsessiond and symptomsd coordinated silent upload/download (~5MB over 2s)

This behavior violates the assumptions behind Apple's TCC privacy framework and is not disclosed in Apple’s documentation.

Reproduce It Yourself

Requirements

  • iPhone running iOS 18.6
  • macOS with Apple Console.app
  • USB cable (no jailbreak required)

Steps

  1. Connect your iPhone via USB
  2. Run the following command in Terminal:log collect --output ~/Desktop/ios18_logs.logarchive
  3. Open Console.app, load the .logarchive
  4. Filter logs by:
    • tccd
    • cfprefsd
    • sosd
    • abm-helper
    • nsurlsessiond
    • symptomsd
  5. Look for:
    • preflight=yes (TCC)
    • Writes to com.apple.messages.commsafety
    • Silent network traffic (rx/tx) within seconds

Why It Matters

  • No UI prompt, no app context = user has no way to see or deny access
  • TCC is silently bypassed, violating Apple’s stated privacy guarantees
  • EDR/MDM cannot detect this — trusted daemons execute the chain
  • Forensics and red teams must rely on logs — not standard analytics

This is a package for Python 3.12.5. It was created to provide a modern, up-to-date Python environment for jailbroken devices, as most other available versions are outdated.

The build includes ssl, ctypes, and pip. The project is fully open-source, and the build script is available on GitHub:

https://github.com/k1tty-xz/python3.12-ios-arm64-deb

Installation

1. Add Repo:

https://k1tty-xz.github.io/

2. Install Package: Python 3.12 for iOS (arm64)

Required Setup

To enable pip for installing packages, run the following command in a terminal after installation:

python3.12 -m ensurepip --upgrade

After that, you can use pip3.12 install <package> to install libraries.

Important Note on Package Compatibility (Wheels)

Not all packages from PyPI will install successfully. Many packages are distributed as pre-compiled "wheels" for standard platforms like Linux or Windows. Since there are no wheels for jailbroken iOS, pip will try to build these packages from source.

For this to have a chance of working, you will likely need to install common developer tools from your package manager (Sileo/Zebra), such as:

  • clang
  • make
  • pkg-config

Even with these tools, packages with complex C extensions or other system dependencies may still fail to build. Pure Python packages are the most likely to install without any issues.

Anyone else having issues with the tweak wicked? Awhile ago I noticed that the tweak was having issues connecting to the server. Not to mention, when I check discord the tweaks server itself seems to be empty. Anyone else having this issue?

Hey folks,

I’ve been meaning to get serious about learning Ethical Hacking and Pen Testing for iOS and Android, but honestly, trying to piece things together from random YouTube videos has been all over the place. I just can’t seem to get a proper structure going.

A close friend of mine who works as a Cyber Security Analyst mentioned Redfox Academy to me. From what I can see on their site, they offer quite a few hands-on programs and seem pretty legit - not just theory but actual practical work.

Has anyone here taken their courses? How was your experience - worth it? Did it actually help you get job-ready or improve your skills?

I’m genuinely looking for some real feedback before I dive in.
