Was really surprised to see the difference in fumbles.

  • Tua: 3177 yards passing, 69.8%, 4 fumbles lost
  • Allen: 2875 yards passing, 69.6%, 3 fumbles lost

In terms of anything, such as bad ownership, if their roster is aging or bad, if their front office seems incompetent, their overall direction seems impossible to figure out, etc. Can be short-term (next year or two) or long-term (anything after that) as well.

Kevin Harlan is someone I already know from NBA commentary (fantastic btw, might be my favourite) but the Howard Stern guy has a very notable voice which I actually feel like I have to pay attention to whenever he talks.

Yo bro, somebody is asleep at the switch this year. In the past, I felt like the standings were updated every Sunday night and again on Monday after the game. This year…you all are slacking. The Lions record is 8-3, they finished their most recent game 2 days ago, really annoyed by this shit. Fix yourself Reddit.

The Cardinals are the only team in the history of the NFL, AFL or AAFC to score exactly 4 points in a game.

  • The Browns finished last season 7-10 and are currently 7-3

  • The Texans finished last season 3-13-1 and are currently 6-4

  • The Colts finished last season 4-12-1 and are currently 5-5

  • The Broncos finished last season 5-12 and are currently 5-5

  • The Bears finished last season 3-14 and are currently 3-8

With the Browns, Broncos and Bears still having only tied their finishing record from last season and the Colts having one more win than last season, the Texans are currently the only team to have three more wins than last season, including their first win against the Steelers since 2011.

The Broncos started the season 1-5 including the historic loss to Miami and have turned things around beautifully, including a victory over the reigning champion Chiefs and a victory over the Vikings who had a 5-game winning streak at the time they played. The Broncos haven't allowed an opponent to score more than 22 points since week 5, and in week 8 were the first team to hold the Chiefs to a single digit score since the Titans did it on October 24, 2021.

The teams that currently need just one more win to tie their win total from last season are the Dolphins, Raiders, Lions and Rams.

Wanted a Nick Chubb Browns retro jersey. $170 on the NFL team shot website. Went to a Chinese knockoff site, I could’ve bought 7 different jerseys for $170. The price difference is just insane. How can they justify pricing a jersey at $170? Do people actually buy it?

I’m new to watching sports in general, but every week it seems like something around the league is dysfunctional. Whether it be players being fined for seemingly minor things (like cheetahs peace sign), or bad referee calls, or organizations giving up, or how the trade deadline was boring compared to other sports, it all seems like the nfl is not very well regulated. Is this how it’s always been, or have these problems gotten worse as of recent? I’m not trying to put blame on anyone here, but what’s the underlying problem? Also, do these sorts of things happen in other sports all the time?

Die hard NFL & Pats fan for a few decades now. I’ve always been of the mindset that more football is better than less, so I’ve always welcomed the Saturday games added to the schedule in late December.

But I have to say that today’s Black Friday game fell flat to me. So do the Sunday morning European games. For whatever reason that I haven’t been able to identify, I just don’t get up for them like I do the normal slate. It’s almost like I feel bad for watching them instead of doing normal shit. I’m good to watch the Thursday and Monday night games because the kids are asleep. Sunday afternoon is sort of accepted as time for football. But Friday afternoon and Sunday morning?? I get why the nfl is doing it. They’re wanting to expand viewership in Europe AND more importantly, dominate other time slots for ratings and future tv contracts. I get it but I also really find myself tuning out.

Am I alone on this island or does it feel like the NFL is quasi jumping the shark?

Jevon Holland: Since being in the league I’ve heard that field is trash

Raheem Mostert: We’ve got to do something about this turf. Something has to change.
